Original Black Sabbath Autographs formed England, Birmingham, in 1968, by Tony Iommi – guitarist and songwriter. Bassist and main songwriter Geezer Butler, singer Ozzy Osbourne, and drummer Bill Ward. The band experienced multiple line-up changes, with Iommi being the only consistent member throughout its history. Sabbath a blues band originally, they soon adopted the Black Sabbath Autographs heavy metal sound and playing using occult themes with horror-used lyrics. Sabbath often wrote songs about social insecurity, political corruption, the devil and drugs.

Ozzy Osbourne autograph released from the band in 1979 due to regular use of drugs and alcohol. Then Replaced by former Rainbow singer Ronnie James Dio. Following two albums with Dio, Black Sabbath had many member changes in the 1980s and 1990s. Such as singer Ian Gillan, Glenn Hughes and Tony Martin, as well as many drummers and bassists. In 1992, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler rejoined Dio and drummer Vinny Appice to record an album. The original line-up got back together with Osbourne in 1997 and released a live album Reunion. Black Sabbath’s final album and 19th overall studio, 13 (2013), features all of the original members apart from Bill Ward. A year after starting a farewell tour, the band played their final concert in their home city of Birmingham on 4 February 2017.
