Formed in 1968 Birmingham, England. From guitarist Tony Iommi. Bassist player and main song writer Terry Geezer Butler. Vocalist and writer Ozzy Osbourne. drummer Bill Ward. The band has many line up changes. Iommi being the only constant member. Throughout its history. Formed as a blues rock band called Earth. The group soon adopted the Black Sabbath sound and began playing occult themes. With horror inspired lyrics and tuned down guitars. Moreover they also wrote most songs about social instability. Politics and variety of drugs.

Regular abuse use substances. Led to Ozzy being sacked from Black Sabbath in 1979.  Rainbow vocalist; Ronnie James Dio then replaced Ozzy. They Recording two albums with Dio. Black Sabbath had numerous personal changes in the 1980s and 1990s. That also included Deep Purple singer Ian Gillan; Glenn Hughes and Tony Martin. As well as a lot of drummers and bass players. In 1992; Iommi and Butler rejoined Dio with drummer Vinny Appice to record Dehumanizer. The original line-up reunited with Osbourne in 1997. Likewise they released a live album called Reunion. Black Sabbath’s final studio album & the nineteenth named 13. Furthermore The album Features all the original members, apart from drummer Bill Ward. A year after embarking on a farewell tour. The band played their final concert in their home city of Birmingham on the 4th February 2017.

Live at Last is a 1980 live album by English heavy metal band Black Sabbath. Despite its worldwide success (the album peaked at No. 5 on the UK Albums Chart). The album was released without the permission or knowledge of the band. The album was, however, released legally by the band’s former manager.
