Bonzo aka John Henry Bonham, (born May 31, 1947, Redditch, Worcestershire, England—died September 25, 1980, Windsor), British rock musician and famous for being the drummer of the Led Zeppelin rock band.
Bonham joined Led Zeppelin at the start when they formed in 1968 (originally called The New Yardbirds). His strong and hard drumming provided the ground for the group’s music and it became largely to the success of the band; which gained an international name as pioneers of “heavy rock.” During the late ’60s and early ’70s, the group made many successful tours in Europe and the U.S, John Bonham autographed career started with the group Band of Joy, which also included Robert Plant, Led Zeppelin’s lead singer. Led Zeppelin autographs made few public appearances after 1977, but it toured Europe shortly before Bonham’s accidental death, brought on by too much alcohol.

Led Zeppelin III is the third studio album by Led Zeppelin, released in October 1970. It showed a progression from straightforward rock towards folk and acoustic music.
The acoustic material developed from a songwriting session by band members; Jimmy Page and Robert Plant at Bron-Yr-Aur cottage in Wales. Additionally, the songs recorded using the Rolling Stones Mobile Studio, Headley Grange, Island Studios, and Olympic Studios in London. While hard rock influences were still present, such as “Immigrant Song”; acoustic-based songs such as “Gallows Pole” and “That’s the Way” showed Led Zeppelin memorabilia as capable of playing different styles successfully.
The album is one of the most anticipated of 1970, and its shipping date on hold by the inner sleeve design based around a volvelle; with numerous images visible through holes in the outer cover. Furthermore, It was an immediate commercial success upon release and topped the UK and US charts. Although critics confused over the change in musical style and gave the album a mixed response; Led Zeppelin autographs acknowledged as representing an important milestone in the band’s history; and a turning point in their music.
