Led Zeppelin II was the second album by the English rock band Led Zeppelin. Also, Released on 22 October 1969 in the United States and on 31 October 1969 in the UK by Atlantic. Recording sessions for the album took place at several locations in both; the UK and North America from January to August 1969. The album’s production gave credit to the band’s lead guitarist and songwriter Jimmy Page. Also, Mixing several elements of blues and folk music together; Led Zeppelin II showed the band’s evolving musical style of blues-derived material and their guitar riff-based sound. Usually described as the band’s heaviest album.
Of course, the album was a commercial success and was the band’s first album to reach number one on charts in the UK and the US.
