The Rolling Stones autograph cheque

The Rolling Stones autograph cheque signed by Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Bill Wyman, and Charlie Watts. Measurements are: 15.5cm x 7.5cm.

A cheque signed to the reverse by members of The Rolling Stones comprising Mick Jagger; Keith Richard, Bill Wyman, and Charlie Watts. Provenance made available to us by the vendor is as follows; The Rolling Stones played at the Granada, East Ham at the foot of the bill in October 1963, with Little Richard headlining but by their next gig there in May 1964, they were top of the bill. My mother had either been to a theatre or the cinema in East Ham and went into a cafe for a cup of tea when in walked the Rolling Stones.

Furthermore, She thought I would never forgive her if she didn’t get the rolling stonesĀ autograph. The only piece of paper that they had between them was a cheque; from my mother’s chequebook which they kindly signed. I can’t imagine that they would have gone for a cup of tea; at a small cafe when they were top of the bill but they were always peculiar so who knows?

In 1962, one of the most successful and critically acclaimed rock bands of all time; the Rolling Stones autograph was started in London.
