This scammer Sebastien Merlin, ordered a signed VHS tape by Paul McCartney at £965. After this order was placed he tried to order many other items over the space of a month but the orders kept failing. The items he was trying to order were priced between £2000 – £4000 so high end items.

Besides, I wrote to Sebastien asking what the issue is with the orders and he replied. He’s unsure but he will wait till the VHS arrives before he orders anything else. But during this time he kept trying to place 12 orders.

Item, sent via UPS and arrived within days of the order. 1 Month later, Sebastien Merlin filed a claim against the order saying it was Fraudulent.

Also, When I contacted Sebastien asking about this I was told: “My friend bought this for me and we fell out, so he told his bank he never got the item.”

This was lies as the order, billing and shipping address was all under Sebastien’s name and address. He said he would return the item but item never returned to me.
What Sebastien Merlin did do:
He posted on Beatles pages on Facebook saying how happy he was with his first Paul McCartney autograph. Then anyone who commented on the post, Sebastien Merlin then contacted each person and offered the VHS to them at a low price. He eventually sold the VHS for 250 euros.
So he had no intention in returning the item, all along this was a scam by Sebastien Merlin to steal from my company and to make some money for himself.

After this post on Facebook, he then wrote to each group member who commented on his post offering to sell the piece. (Yes, the piece he just bought from our company, and he posted online how happy he was with it).
He eventually sold the autograph for 200 euros to a customer in Holland. Nevertheless, so much for returning the item back to me. More lies!!

Il a finalement vendu l’autographe pour 200 euros à un client en Hollande. (Autant pour me renvoyer l’article). Encore des mensonges !! ***

2025: Still no money received from Sebastien Merlin from 83640 Plan-d’Aups-Sainte-Baume. I do know Sebastien knows about this page but shows his promises are all false just like himself. A constant liar and scumbag happy to steal from other people. I only hope he hasn’t managed to do this again and the people from Plan-d’Aups-Sainte-Baume are safe from his scams.
